Photo by Kevin H..Silverdocs is drawing to a close, which means we can now turn our attention to the birth of the latest list of “best” Washington films.
Arch Campbell gently introduces Washington Life magazine’s “100 Best Washington Movies Ever,” assuring us the list excludes the slew of Washington flicks that are geographically-challenged and especially those which in no way reflect “the way we Washingtonians really live.”
Perhaps Campbell’s referencing Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, which CBS Washington placed on its January list of best movies set in D.C.
Washington Life’s rundown, ranked by the “WL Film Committee,” is an amalgam of wedding-crashing, lecherous demons and, of course, politics.
