When it comes to D.C. theater in July, Fringe tends to be the word. And don’t worry: we’ll have a preview and tons of reviews coming your way in that department, as the Capital Fringe Festival begins July 7. But there are other theater offerings of the non-Fringe-y variety headed your way as well. Here’s the roundup.
>> Arena Stage has two offerings headed our way in July. There’s the Tennessee Williams classic The Glass Menagerie (July 1), and the company’s uber-successful and charming production of Oklahoma! returns for a limited engagement as well (July 8).
>> On the heels of their production last month, Reduced Shakespeare Company performs The Complete World of Sports at Kennedy Center (July 5).
>> Popular Broadway transplant Rock of Ages heads to the National Theatre (July 12).
