>> A part of the hip-hop super group Slaughterhouse who is also known as a solo artist for the track “Pump It Up,” Joe Budden is on the road headlining a tour with Panama, Chaz Money, Jr. Junior, The Kid Gashi and Pip Nyce. They’ll all be at U Street Music Hall. $18-$40 in advance. 7 p.m.

Saturday:
>> Grammy Award-winning producer 9th Wonder frequently visits D.C. Tonight, he’ll be at Everlasting Life Cafe as a part of “Midnight Marauders”, along with Thee Tom Hardy, Rapsody, Big Remo, Actual Proof, Awthentik & The Fif and M1 Platoon. $10. 8 p.m.

>> It’s the 5th anniversary of DCypher Dance, Joy of Motion Dance Center’s resident adult hip-hop company. To celebrate, they’re hosting a special performance titled Ascension: Phase 5 at the Atlas Performing Art Center with a number of talented guest choreographers. $20 in advance / $25 at the door. 8 p.m.
