Somewhere along their inexorable route towards enshrinement in the adult-contemporary canon, Death Cab For Cutie lost much of the poignant, youthful vibrancy that made the best of their earlier work so endearing, though they continue to dutifully soundtrack the lives of countless romantics with mildly off-center musical tastes. Currently touring behind their tepidly-received seventh LP, Codes and Keys, Ben Gibbard and his bandmates play Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday, with Glaswegian indie-rockers Frightened Rabbit opening. $35-45. 6 p.m.
