This morning, we saw a couple of tweets suggesting that WMATA had reinstalled the four benches inside the Gallery Place-Chinatown station that we reported were removed.

“Nope, still gone,” said Dan Stessel, who was kind enough to pass along a photo he took while passing through the station this morning.

“Remember, it’s just 4 benches on the east side of the Shady Grove platform. There are still plenty of benches throughout the rest of the station,” Stessel added. So take note, tweeters!
