We learned last year that Foggy Bottom would be the home of the fourth Whole Foods Market in the District proper, but news comes today that the grocery will officially open next month.
The new market, a two-story, 38,000-square-foot space inside the enormous Square 54 development off Washington Circle, will open its doors on September 6.
Like every Whole Foods, the store includes plenty of posh amenities, including a cafe offering charcuterie and a section promising “personal-care items to pamper, nurture and care for the whole body.” So, you know, you’ll be able to get aloe there.
