Photo by Chris Rief aka Spodie Odie.Good morning, Washington. Albrecht Muth, who admitted to media earlier this week that he was the prime suspect in the murder of his 91-year-old wife, Viola Drath, was arrested yesterday. Muth was taken into custody near the Georgetown home where Drath was found dead and subsequently charged with second-degree murder. Muth is expected to appear in court on the charge today. Though Muth has admitted that he was the only person in the home the day Drath was found dead, he’s so far adamantly denied that he had any financial motive to kill the former journalist.
