>> A group of teens working with D.C. Voice show just how easy it is for kids to buy cigarettes. On more than 50 different occasions, kids say they were able to buy cigars, cigarettes and other tobacco products in neighborhood stores east of the river. WJLA’s Mark Seagraves confronted cashiers in some of the shops and talked with distressed parents who’ve reportedly started petitions and marched in protest.

>> Detectives from the Prince William County Police Department canvassed the Summerland Heights apartment complex Saturday morning searching for leads in their investigation of a suspect accused of assaulting multiple women this summer. Fox 5 reports that police passed out flyers with questions such as: “Are there any males… who live in or frequent the area and are considered ‘troublemakers’, ‘creepers’, or just ‘odd?'” Detectives believe the suspect is a black male, 5’ 8″ to six feet in height, with a medium build, weighing about 200 pounds. He may have a mustache.

>> A 2-year-old boy was playing outside when he was hit by a stray bullet and critically wounded Saturday night at an apartment complex in Prince George’s County. Police don’t believe there was any intention to shoot the boy.

>> Montgomery County police arrested Mario Amaro for allegedly sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl at a Montgomery County thrift store earlier this month.

>> Montgomery County Police have charged 52-year-old Juan Melgar of Germantown for raping a woman in the restroom of a Germantown restaurant.
