Another successful D.C. Beer Week has come and gone. With well over 100 events all over the city, it is safe to say that Washington D.C. is slowly coming into its own as one of the premiere East Coast destinations for quality beer. And now that there’s three breweries within District limits, as well as a number in close proximity, it is becoming easier and easier to drink local.

The organizers, participating breweries and bars, and support and service staff went nonstop for a week straight. And although many were sleep deprived, spirits were always high and the cooperation from all over the city showed what a great craft beer community we have. From all us beer drinkers: thanks for a great week!

And now for the unofficial detox week to commence…
