Martin, our out-and-about editor, was right when he said that festival season is upon us — in spite of the blustery weather. Of course, one could battle the chill by donning a cow costume and flying around in circles. Photog javajanie captured this not-too-familiar, yet whimsical, scene at the Charles County Fair this past week. Flying cows aside, the geometric lines and cartoon-ish colors make this photo active and surreal, pretty much what any good county fair should accomplish. As for me, I’ll split the difference and stick with pork.
