>> Maryland State Police have charged 19-year-old Alexis D. Simpson with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Dominique Frazier at Bowie State University on Thursday. Simpson and Frazier were roommates, and police say they got into an argument over iPod music. The Washington Post reports that friends of Simpson and Frazier show there were similarities between the two girls. Both were fashionable, outgoing, and both had performed well academically in high school and were business majors at Bowie.

>> Three female students at the University of Maryland have reported that they were sexually assaulted by male strangers while they slept. Two incidents occurred off campus and one in a residence on campus, all within a few hundred yards of each other.

>> A 26-year-old woman was walking along Arlington Boulevard near Gallows Road around 11 p.m. Monday when three men in a white van abducted and assaulted her, and then pushed her out of the vehicle after she fought back.

>> Two men were found dead from gunshot wounds late Friday in Prince George’s County. Police said 47 year-old John Jay Bromwich shot 45 year-old Graham Edmondson Hayes II, and then took his own life.

>> A D.C. Superior Court judge set a May 14 trial date for D.C. police officer Larry Seay, 37, charged with nine counts of sexual assault in cases involving three women. At least one of the women had been arrested for sexual solicitation. Seay’s attorney said his client had been suspended from the force and was about to be terminated.

>> Former Maryland state delegate Robert McKee has been released from prison after serving 37 months for possessing child pornography.

>> Takia Neeley, 22, of Hyattsville, was sentenced Friday to spend more than 29 years in prison for killing Jason Liser, 32, in 2009.

>> Zorigoo Munkhbayar, 23, of Arlington, is dead, the victim of a hit-and-run Friday on Arlington Boulevard.

>> A man is dead after he was hit by a car on University Boulevard and Baltimore Avenue in College Park, Maryland.
