The Largo Town Center Metro station parking lot has been no stranger to crime in the past — but the crimes being committed there appear to be getting more and more creepy. In 2009, it was your run-of-the-mill carjacking. Then, earlier this year, a woman was shot during a carjacking. On Monday night, though, things got even stranger — a man who came into the garage to discover his car had been burglarized was then chased down by a lying-in-wait vehicle.

Nock told 9News a suspicious car near his car turned its lights on and began chasing him. Nock said he believed whoever was in that car was responsible for breaking into his black Mustang, and he believed they were coming after him next.

He said, “So I just decided to run, and I ran into the elevator and lost the people that were pursuing me.”

The craziest part? According to WUSA9, who first reported the story, neither Metro Transit Police nor Prince George’s County Police have any record of the incident even occurring. Add it on to the pile of hundreds of serious crimes to discuss at this evening’s public meeting with the Metro Transit Police, I suppose.
