>> Police have charged 44-year-old Raymond Taylor of Purcellville, the former president of the Upper Loudoun Youth Football League, with stealing more than $50,000 from the program between February and September. He’s facing six felony counts of embezzlement.

>> Thomas M. Irvin, 49, a former English teacher at H.D. Woodson Senior High School, will spend nine months in jail and register as a sex offender for sexually abusing one of his students in a bathroom in March.

>> Miguel Angel Drullard Jr., 22, of Northwest Washington, was killed in a hit-and-run Thursday, and now D.C. Police believe he may have been intentionally struck. Police are looking for a red or burgunday Jeep Liberty with extensive front-end damage. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.

>> Stephen Wise, 22, of D.C., was sentenced to 22 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and kidnapping her 17-year-old male friend. In December 2010, the teenagers went to the National Zoo to see the holiday lights. Afterward, they drove to the 6600 block of 13th Street NW and parked, when Wise appeared wearing a mask, carrying a gun and demanding money. The pair told him they had no money. Wise then raped the girl and forced the boy to remain in the car during the attack.

>> A man and woman were found dead Saturday in what police said could be a murder-suicide. Police said Martin Sean O’Toole, 38, and Hong Trang Tracy Vu, who was believed to be between 35- and 38-years-old, were found dead Saturday in O’Toole’s Bethesda apartment.

>> Nashon Brian Barnett, 26, was killed Saturday morning when a car he was in struck a tree in the median near the intersection of Veirs Mill Road and Twinbrook Parkway in Rockville. Danielle Delores Donaldson, 21, was driving the car and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call police at 301-840-2435.

>> Culpeper just had its first murder in nearly five years. There was a triple shooting Saturday at the Village Apartments that left one woman dead and two men wounded. Police believe one of the men was the gunman. Culpeper’s last homicide was on Oct 22, 2006.
