Sometimes we forget that the exalted names and faces hanging in our venerated museums were people too, people made from nearly the same combinations of carbon and oxygen atoms as the rest of us. Maybe just a tad bit older. This ghostly image, by LaTur, of two men — past and present — reminds us of the eerie similarities we still hold with our ancestors, perhaps wearing a few different threads.
