Regardless of whether you’re upset that the corner of 14th and U has turned into a mini-7th and H Streets of sorts or not, free coffee is free coffee. This morning, the new Dunkin’ Donuts at 2001 14th Street NW is open for the first time. To mark the occasion, they’re giving out free medium coffees. Based on the flyers this editor has seen, the promotion is running through October 30 and doesn’t actually require a purchase — though we defy you to actually walk into a brick-and-mortar Dunkin’ Donuts and not purchase a donut.
