With reminders like this, who needs ethics reform?
The above poster, spotted this morning by Washington Business Journal reporter Michael Neibauer inside a break room at the John A. Wilson Building, aims to ensure that city employees know how to act when confronted with the tough ethical quandaries that come with a job in city politics. For example: the insinuation that the first person employees ask about potential ethics issues probably won’t be able to provide them with the right answer, so, you know, KEEP ASKING.
Of course, this “quick test” assumes that the person thinking about committing a violation would actually be sentient enough to honestly answer such questions, which, as we all know, is quite the assumption to be making.
