Photo by vpickering.I can count on one hand how many times I’ve driven in and around D.C. The life of a perpetual passenger is prejudiced, so I can offer few objective thoughts on WTOP’s new poll on the best and worst drivers in the Washington region. I’ll leave that to you.
WTOP found that of 641 residents spread out among D.C., Maryland and Virginia, 38 percent think Virginia residents are the best drivers, with Maryland close behind at 35 percent.
Nearly half of respondents said that D.C. residents are bad drivers, making the District the worse of all three jurisdictions.
Eleven percent of respondents said it doesn’t matter how you slice it, the drivers in D.C., Maryland and Virginia are all awful behind the wheel. Yes, I think that story’s been told.
