Yesterday, we noted that at least five people had been robbed over the weekend in various dense neighborhoods in Northwest D.C. Police now say that another robbery, committed on Monday night, has led them to refine the description of the suspected robbers.
Authorities now believe that the robberies have been committed by two separate groups of people — the first, two suspects armed with a gun, the other a group of young people on bicycles who then use them to flee the scene after the crime. Police came to the conclusion regarding the two groups of suspects after a resident was robbed at 7:30 p.m. at 11th and S Streets — they believe that the group on bikes committed that robbery.
No injuries have been reported in any of the robberies committed by the two groups over the last 48 hours.
