Remember in February, when we opined that intercity bus operator Megabus would have been better off locating their new pickup and dropoff location a “little bit closer to the Metro”?
Turns out we weren’t the only ones who thought so.
According to the District Department of Transportation, Megabus will now shuffle passengers on and off its buses at the Union Station parking garage, allowing for a far easier connection to mass transit than their previous pickup/dropoff spot inside a parking lot at North Capitol and K Streets.
Megabus has been gradually expanding the amount of service it offers to and from Washington over the past year; last November, the company named the District one of its hubs.
