There has been plenty to fret about this year for Mayor Vince Gray. But today he may well take a break and enjoy a little celebration, as he turns 69.

Despite having been born on this day in 1942, the Post reported last week that Gray will hold his formal birthday celebration on November 15, when supporters host a fundraiser for his Constituent Services Fund.

On his first birthday in office, Mayor Adrian Fenty threw everyone a party, renting out a hall in the Washington Convention Center and inviting District residents to celebrate with him.
