Cleveland Park’s Ireland’s Four Fields is sticking around, at least for another few months.

WTOP reports that the longstanding Irish mainstay will remain open until April 2012, avoiding what was a planned November 5 closure after the rent was raised above what owner Frank Hughes said he could pay.

McFadden’s has been eyeing the Connecticut Avenue spot for its second location; the Cleveland Park Citizen Association will be discussing the possibility of hosting the chain on Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Park Club (3433 33rd Place NW).
