Last week, we theorized that, given the data, our favorite Post columnist who hates Twitter despite having a Twitter account would probably be best suited to a job anywhere but New York or Los Angeles. Or maybe not!
Via.
According to a new study by the Pew Research Center, said columnist’s employer, the Washington Post, boasts the largest number of “organizational Twitter feeds” with 98. (That’s 98 times the number of Twitter accounts associated with The Daily Caller, you know.) During the time period studied by Pew, the Post officially launched 664 different tweets into the ether, smoking other prolific media organizations like the Huffington Post.
Given these numbers and the financial burden of actually producing a print product, who knows — maybe soon, the Post will simply just tweet out its daily edition.
