MOVIES: AFI Silver Theatre’s (8633 Colesville Road, Silver Spring) month of Muppet movies starts tonight at 5 p.m. with The Dark Crystal, and continues through December 22nd with other favorites like Labyrinth, Follow that Bird, The Muppets Take Manhattan, and The Great Muppet Caper. $8.50 matinee, $11 regular.
THEATER: Fall for Mr. Darcy all over again at Round House Theatre Bethesda’s (4545 East-West Highway, Bethesda) production of Pride and Prejudice. The play’s run begins tonight and continues through the end of December. While, alas, this version doesn’t contain zombies, it does contain plenty of witty dialogue. 7:30 p.m. $26-$51.
PARTY: Take part in some premptive calorie burning by dancing the night away at Clarendon Ballroom’s (3185 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington) Thanksgiving Throwdown tonight. Flounder (From DC101), Chris Styles, and Flex will be DJing. Doors open 6 p.m. $8 early, $10 later (bring a can good to donate and receive $3 off entry).
MUSIC: Israeli violinist Miri Ben-Ari, who has performed with Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, Maroon 5, and a number of other big names, takes to the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center (2700 F Street NW) tonight. 6 p.m. Free.
