HANUKKAH: Head to Pentagon Row (1201 S. Joyce Street, Arlington) tonight to see the lighting of an ice menorah at the Pentagon Row ice rink. Tickets include skate rental and ice skating. There will also be hot latkes, kosher hot dogs and other refreshments for sale. 6 to 8:30 p.m. $10-$12.

MOVIE: Chinatown Coffee (475 H Street NW) presents a screening of It Might Get Loud, a documentary by Waiting for “Superman” director Davis Guggenheim about the history of the electric guitar. Select beers will be $3 during the movie. 7 p.m. Free.

HAPPY HOUR: Drink with the cast of Signature Theatre’s production of Hairsprayat the Holiday Hairspray Happy Hour at Busboys and Poets in Shirlington (4251 South Campbell Avenue, Arlington) this evening. Prepare for cast members to break out into song and for prize giveaways. 6 to 8 p.m. Free to attend.

MUSIC: Listen Local First is holding a Holiday Jangle, featuring local artists Taylor Carson and Ugly Purple Sweater, at Wonderland Ballroom (1101 Kenyon Street NW) tonight. 6 to 11:30 p.m.
