Dave Hughes took to his newest YouTube commentary today to riff on yesterday’s news that Darian Morgan, aka Big Tigger, has left his longtime perch at WPGC 95.5. Hughes has some good insight on both the station and its corporate parent, CBS Radio, which he says is clearly slacking behind in ratings. WPGC in particular is being beaten considerably by its primary competitor, WIHT Hot 99.5—usually in the top three of all stations—and losing more ground to urban contemporary station WKYS 93.9, Hughes says.

Meanwhile, Morgan hasn’t really made any public remarks in the past day, using his Twitter account (@TheBigTiggerShow) mostly to retweet birthday well-wishers. (The DJ turned 39 yesterday.)
