Everyone knows that District residents are suckers for pictures of baby animals. But as Flickr user spiggycat captured recently, those baby animals grow up. Here, some of the National Zoo’s brood of seven lion cubs — they turned one in September — stare intently at something just out of frame. Another deer that snuck its way into their enclosure, maybe?
