MUSIC: Today at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage you’ve got Venezuelan guitarist/vocalist Juancho Herrera (6 p.m., Free), while the Velvet Lounge will feature punk bands Accidents, Left & Right and Grammar (9 p.m., $8 if over 21, $10 if under).
CHEAP TACOS: Yes, this is now a category. Get yourself $2 tacos at El Centro D.F. (1819 14th St. NW) tonight and every Tuesday. It’s like taco night in college, but fancied up a little.
THEATRE: It’s the last week for Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company’s Spoiler Alert: Everyone Dies. You may only be able to get standing room tickets, though, so check here to see what’s available when.
POETRY: Why let all those elitist poets read to you when you can just read your own poetry to a crowd? The 14th Street Busboys and Poets has an open mic poetry session tonight. (9-11 p.m., $4 to participate).
COMEDY: So many people want to be comics, it seems, that Riot Act Comedy Theater is no longer accepting applicants for tonight’s open mic night. You can still attend the show, though, aptly titled “Breaking Resolutions.” Twelve aspiring comics are set to perform. (8:30 p.m., $10).
