ART: The Corcoran Gallery of Art (500 Seventeenth Street NW) is offering free admission today to both honor Martin Luther King Jr. and to celebrate their 30 Americans exhibit. Visitors today will also receive a two-for-one voucher so they can visit the gallery with a friend in the future for the price of one admission. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Free.
MOVIES: The Black Cat (1811 14th Street NW) is presenting The Lord of the Rings trilogy on three Middle Earth Mondays. Tonight, watch The Two Towers while you enjoy specials on pitchers of beer. 8 p.m. Free.
>> The Washington Psychotronic Film Society presents Steven Spielberg’s 1972 “second-to-last made-for-TV movie,” Something Evil, at McFadden’s (2401 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) tonight. The film was inspired by the book The Exorcist, and came out before the movie of that same name. 8 p.m. $5 donation suggested.

THURSDAY: Take a look into the The Mystery of Shakespeare, and whether he wrote all the plays attributed to him, at a talk at the Kreeger Museum (2401 Foxhall Road NW) this Thursday.
