MOVIES: The Film | Neu German movie showcase begins at E Street Cinema (555 11th Street NW) tonight with a screening of Westwind (9:50 p.m.). The German films continue through the 26th, with a half dozen options this Saturday and Sunday. Learn more in this week’s Popcorn & Candy. $11 each film.
THEATER: Landless Theatre Company’s Mashup Fest at the DC Arts Center (2438 18th Street NW) tonight through January 28, is taking your favorite pop culture references and smushing them all together to make you laugh. Tonight, catch The Dark Knightmare Before Christmas and Breaking Hunger at 7:30 p.m., or Night of the Living Golden Girls and Tarxxxanadu at 10 p.m. $15 each show.
MUSIC: They may be young (11 to 18 years old) but the youngsters who make up Foozle, Narrow Spirit, Coxey Brown, Dactyl, and the Black Sparks know how to rock. See their Youth Punk Show at St. Stephen’s Church (1525 Newton Street NW) tonight and help them support the All Ages Movement Project. 6 p.m. $5.

BEER: Lace up your drinking shoes for the indoor 1K Beer Walk this Saturday and Sunday at the Crystal City Shops (2200 Crystal Drive Crystal City VA). Use your 20 tasting tickets to sample from over 30 beers. There will also be free snacks and t-shirts for all participants. Tickets: $35 Saturday, $20 Sunday.
