Ian MacKaye, whose name was mispronounced in the meme, responded to TBD’s inquiry into his feelings about the short film with a note reading: “You’ve found me, but I’m afraid I don’t have anything to say about the video. yours, ian”
>>A draft report obtained by The Washington Post Friday, finds no wrongdoing on the part of D.C. council members in the proceedings leading up to the selection of a new lottery vendor and the vote to legalize online gambling. The report by the D.C. Inspector General does call into question the behavior of other actors in the agreement, namely Intralot and the Veteran’s Service Corp.
>>D.C. Councilmember and former mayor, Marion Barry will undergo minor surgery to his urinary tract Friday. This is the latest in a string of hospitalizations since the 75-year-old has been in the public eye, the most recent being a kidney transplant in 2009. Barry’s procedure will take place at Sibley Memorial Hospital where he will remain overnight.
