The roof of the Anacostia Senior High School caught on fire around noon today, causing the school to be evacuated and provoking a large deployment of D.C. firefighters. According to tweets from the firefighter’s union, one firefighter fell through the roof but is being treated on-scene by EMS workers. The union also reports that winds keep reigniting the blaze.

UPDATE, 1 p.m.: According to WAMU, the fire started in a part of the school that is being renovated.
