MOVIES: National Geographic (1145 17th Street NW) celebrates the work of women filmmakers through the Women Hold Up Half the Sky Film Series this weekend. Tonight, see Here I Am at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday see A Small Act at 4:30 p.m. and My Wedding and Other Secrets at 7:30 p.m. $10 each film or $24 for the three-part series.
DANCE: DCypher Dance, a DC adult hip hop company, takes part in the Intersections arts festival at Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H Street NE) tonight at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 general admission and $20 for seniors and students.

FOOD & DRINK: Hill Country Barbecue (410 Seventh Street NW) is celebrating 176 years of Texas independance tonight with $1.76 Lone Star beers, a variety of delicious foods, and live music from Texas grown singer/songwriter Austin Allsup.

SCAVENGER HUNT Get to sleuthing at The Murder at the Museum of American History Scavenger Hunt (14th Street and Constitution Avenue NW) this Saturday with Watson Adventures. They warn that this is one of their more challenging scavenger hunts (also, adults only), so they recommend that you have at least a group of three. 2:00-4:30 p.m. Tickets: $24.50.
ACROBATS: Aerialists, modern dancers, and circus performers take part in the Getting Airbone! show at Atlas’s Lang Theater (1333 H Street NE) Saturday. Shows at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Tickets: $25 adults, $15 students and seniors.
MUSIC: Subcontinental Drift goes Beyond Bhangra with DJs v:shal kanwar and Inda Nile, the Rhythmaya Dance Company, and other artists at Joe’s Movement Emporium (339 Bunker Hill Road, Mt. THEATER: The WSC Avant Bard theater company presents Shakespeare in Klingon at the Rosslyn Spectrum theater (1611 N.
