>> Federal agents raided the offices and home of Jeffrey E. Thompson Friday. Thompson is one of D.C.’s biggest political contributors as well as the owner of Chartered Health Plan, the city’s largest contractor. No arrests were made. The actions appear to be a part of a continued investigation into corruption in District politics.

>> Motown legend, Smokey Robinson will perform for D.C.’s Duke Ellington School of the Arts today.

>> Under defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, the Washington Redskins had a bounty system that paid for hits to opponents according to a National Football League investigation. Players were paid thousands of dollars depending on the type of tackle they made.

>> In other Redskins’ news, D.C. is trying to bring the team back into city limits. City Council is in preliminary talks to lure them back with a new training facility.

>> President Obama switched his Facebook page to timeline Thursday. Washington Post reporter, Sean Ludwig writes: “No page might better illustrate how well Timeline helps individuals control all aspects of their life story.”
