Flynt’s ad appeared on page A18 of the Washington Post’s March 4 edition.
Hustler publisher Larry Flynt may not be the classiest guy out there, but he certainly has a nose for hypocrisy—and a nice bankroll to help uncover it.
In a full-page ad that appeared in the Post yesterday, Flynt again offered $1 million for any hints, allegations or concrete information on sexual dalliances involving members of Congress or senior government officials. It’s hardly a new offer for Flynt—last year, he pledged the same amount for any information regarding Rick Perry’s sex life, and he’s taken credit for exposing Sen. David Vitter (R-La.) and former Speaker of the House Bob Livingston.
Of course, much like the rest of the publishing industry, Flynt’s digging for congressional dirt may soon be undone by the social media revolution. Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY), for one, kick-started his own scandal when he tweeted out the famous pictures of his crotch.
