If you’re about the travel on the Orange or Blue lines, expect some delays around Foggy Bottom—Dr. Gridlock is reporting that someone was hit by a train there this afternoon, and there’s currently no service at the station.

Additionally, trains are single-tracking between Foggy Bottom and Arlington Cemetery on the Blue Line and Foggy Bottom and Clarendon on the Orange Line, and southbound 23rd Street NW is closed.

The Post’s Dana Hedgpeth just tweeted from a meeting of Metro’s Board of Directors, where WMATA General Manager Richard Sarles just said that it was a suicide attempt.

UPDATE, 2:55 p.m.: D.C. Fire/EMS tweets that the person has been removed and is being treated.

UPDATE, 3:10 p.m.: WMATA tweets that Foggy Bottom has reopened to train service, though trains continue single-tracking.
