By popular demand, in addition to our annual readers-staff pool for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament—spoiler alert: you had until noon today to sign up—this year DCist is introducing our contest for the Division I women’s basketball tournament.

While the rules are largely the same, there are a few things to point out. First, most noticeably, we are using ESPN to host our women’s tournament pool, as CBS Sports, which hosts our men’s tournament contest, does not offer gender equity in its bracket games. You might also need to create a login for ESPN.com, which you can do by using Facebook Connect. Otherwise, the systems should work largely the same. Open a bracket, make your picks and lock them in by tipoff of the first game Saturday at 11:05 a.m.

Click here to get started with the pool. The password is dcist.

As a reward, the reader who accumulates the highest amount of points at the end of the tournament will be handsomely rewarded with a prize to be named later. So hurry up and enter, bracketize and prepare yourself to claim ultimate bragging rights!
