DISCUSSION: If you missed Mike Daisey’s recent appearance at Georgetown, responding to untruths in his one man show The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs, you have another chance to hear him explain himself. As we mentioned yesterday, Daisey will be speaking tonight at Woolly Mammoth (641 D Street NW). The theater is running The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs from July 17 through August 5, but admit they now feel conflicted about it, and will be offering refunds to anyone who bought tickets before learning about Daisey’s questionable reporting. This evening’s discussion, at 7:00 p.m., is free, but reservations are encouraged (call 202-393-3939).
TRIVIA: Head to the National Portrait Gallery’s Kogod courtyard (800 F Street NW) tonight for some 80s Trivia. Gear up for questions about the “museum’s collection of portraits featuring icons of news, sports, and entertainment from the 1980s.” 6:30 p.m. Free.
MUSIC: The always-entertaining DJ Shadow performs tonight at The Fillmore (8656 Colesville Road Silver Spring, MD). 8:00 p.m. $30.
