The D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities announced today the recipients of its Arts Impact Grants, awarding $200,000 to organizations that had not previously received District funding during the 2012 fiscal year.

The Arts Impact Grants were announced last December as one last round of public support for D.C.’s arts organizations that previously applied for but did not receive grants from the commission for 2012. The maximum allowed grant was $30,000, although none of the 12 recipients announced today received more than $22,500.

Forty-eight organizations applied for an Arts Impact Grant, DCCAH said in a press release. Here’s the full list of recipients:

  • Contemporary Arts Forum, $15,000.00
  • District of Columbia Arts Center, Inc., $15,000.00
  • Double Nickels Theatre Company, $22,500.00
  • International Child Art Foundation, $15,000.00
  • Latin American Montessori Bilingual Public Charter School, $15,000.00
  • Mexican Cultural Institute, $15,000.00
  • Moving Forward: Contemporary Asian American Dance Company, $22,500.00
  • National Cherry Blossom Festival, Inc., $15,000.00
  • One In Ten, $15,000.00
  • The Links Foundation, $5,000.00
