It was a year ago today that DC Brau made history by becoming the first brewery in D.C. in a half-century, helping kick off a revolution in craft and local beers that is sweeping the city. And according to Drink D.C., they’ll be celebrating in appropriate fashion at Meridian Pint this afternoon:

Kicking off at 4 PM, the celebration will feature no less than 16 DC Brau offerings, 13 on draft abetted by three casks, and all pours will be $5 each for the duration of the party. Get ready to toast with glasses of Catoctin Creek Rye Oak Barrel-Aged Citizen, On the Wings of Armageddon, Penn Quarter Porter and specialty offerings Thyme After Thyme with Star Anise and Stone of Arbroath with Special Sauce, along with many more.

So head down there and drink one in celebration of local beer.
