>> Even though six medical marijuana cultivators have been granted licenses to operate in D.C., the Examiner reports that it might be months before they start growing any marijuana at all. Though the hopeful cultivators have been given the official go-ahead, they still have to apply for building permits and renovate warehouse spaces, a process which could take up to six months.

>> In the difficult debate over whether or not D.C. school are improving, one issue if often overlooked—how are graduates doing once they hit college? Not well, writes Cesar Chavez Public Charter School for Public Policy graduate Darryl Robinson in the Post today.
