John Wall point guard may be one of the Washington Wizards’ most promising players, but he’s got some questionable allegiances. According to the MLS Soccer blog, Wall was recently spotted in Miami sporting a—the nerve!—New York Red Bulls jersey.

Now, anyone who reads us would know that D.C. United and the Red Bulls have something of a heated rivalry going on. (You could be forgiven for not knowing that, though—their game last week ended in a 4-1 win for United.)

Thankfully, D.C. United dispatched forward Chris Pontius to talk some sense into the young basketball star. The end result seems to satisfy all parties involved—Wall got himself a customized D.C. United jersey, which is significantly more stylish and appropriate than the Red Bulls alternative.
