FOOD & DRINK: The Curbside Cookoff food truck festival celebrates “Trucko de Mayo” with over 35 food trucks at RFK Stadium Lot 3 this Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. There will also be live music, beer, and activities. Free admission.

FUNDRAISER: Lace up your kicks, or open your wallet, for the 2012 Washington DC CROP Hunger Walk on Saturday to help raise money to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world. The walk begins at Christ United Methodist Church (4th and I Street SW) with registration at 9:00 a.m. and the walk at 10:00 a.m.

KENTUCKY DERBY: Jack Rose is covering all its bases this Saturday by throwing a Kentucky Derby Saloon Celebration (4:00-7:00 p.m., $75) downstairs and Cinco de Derby Rooftop Fiesta upstairs, with mint julep and margarita sno-cones (4:00 p.m.-midnight).

Ticket price includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, raffle prizes, and entry into the Derby attire contest. FESTIVAL: The 6th annual International Children’s Festival brings 20 embassies showcasing their countries’ cultural uniqueness to the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center this Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Free.
