Need fresh produce and bread, as well as cage-free chicken eggs today? Hurry to one of the two Saturday farmers’ markets in Northwest D.C. which kicked off the season this sunny morning. The Mt. Pleasant market is located at the intersection of 17th and Lamont Streets NW on Lamont Park. The U Street market is located on the corner of U Street and 14th Streets NW, just outside the Reeves Center. Both producer-only bazaars run every Saturday, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., until Nov. 17.
