>> The Nationals beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-3 late Friday evening. The Post reports that pinch-hitter Wilson Ramos took home a comeback victory for The Nats after delivering an RBI single with two outs at the 11th inning.

>> H Street NE businesses got a financial boost from the D.C. government yesterday. The Examiner reports that four businesses were awarded the H Street NE Retail Priority Grant.

>> Arriving Amtrak passengers at Union Station waiting for cabs to go home during the wee hours can be maddening. The Post reports that cabdrivers often choose and reject customers based on their destination,violating civil laws that prohibit this type of discrimination. But some cabdrivers are willing to gamble with a high demand for rides and no cab dispatchers and “hack inspectors” in sight.

>> A 28-year-old Maryland man was arrested in his Suitland apartment Friday for possessing 23 pounds of pot. According to WTOP, Leon Flythe was charged with felony possession with the intent to distribute large amount of marijuana. Police also confiscated more than $4,000 in cash and ammunition inside Flythe’s apartment. Flythe is currently held on a $60,000 bond.
