>> Today, voters in North Carolina will vote on an amendment to the state constitution that would ban same-sex marriage. Just as all similar measures in other states have passed, the North Carolina amendment is expected to win. But, the Post reports, same-sex marriage advocates in Maryland are hopeful they will break the streak in November when voters there weigh an amendment that would undo the state’s recent adoption of marriage equality.
