In the hours since his death was announced, tributes have poured in for Chuck Brown, the “Godfather of Go-Go” and D.C. music legend who died today after a bout with pneumonia. Brown, 75, was a fixture of the Washington music scene for nearly half a century, and seeing him around town was always a delight.
