The Verizon Center will play host to the Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight rounds of next year’s Division I men’s college basketball tournament, the NCAA announced today. It’ll be the sixth tournament for which the Verizon Center has been venue, with the Georgetown Hoyas named as the host team.

As the host school for the East Regional, Georgetown will be ineligible to play in that corner of the bracket should the Hoyas make the tournament. The games will be played at the Verizon Center next March 28 and 30.

In addition to D.C., Los Angeles, Indianapolis and Arlington, Texas will also host regional rounds; the Final Four and national championship game will be played in Atlanta.

Tickets don’t go on sale until October 13, but it’s never too early to start scraping together the funds for next year’s tournament. This year, spectators for the East regional games in Boston paid an average of $277 per ticket in the round of 16 and $261 in the round of eight.

And the last time the Verizon Center hosted the NCAA tournament, in 2011, tickets purchased nearly a year before the games were going for $252.
