Attention RG3-watchers everywhere: The Redskins’ next great hope will make one of his first big national appearances since last month’s NFL Draft when he appears on tonight’s broadcast of The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.
Robert Griffin III is Jay Leno’s second guest tonight, following House star Hugh Laurie, which means you’ll probably have to stay up until 12:15 a.m. for his segment. But as much as it pains us to recommend watching Leno, the Heisman Trophy winner and presumptive starting quarterback for the Redskins’ 2012 season could be worth staying up for. Griffin was plenty engaging on his last late-night talk show appearance, when he delivered the Top 10 list on The Late Show With David Letterman shortly after winning his Heisman.
The Tonight Show airs at 11:35 p.m. on NBC4.
