If you’ve depended on the DMV location in the Georgetown Park Mall for all your driving-related needs, you’ll need to look elsewhere starting this weekend. As of 4 p.m. tomorrow, the Georgetown DMV location will close as construction begins on at the mall.

To accommodate users of that location, the D.C. DMV announced that as of June 4 a temporary service center will open at 301 C Street, NW. New residents who had out-of-state titles sent to the Georgetown location will have to go to the Penn Branch location (3220 Pennsylvania Avenue, SE) after Saturday. For any other needs, head to the main DMV service center at 95 M Street SW.

The mall, which has been something of a dead space in a hot neighborhood, is set to undergo major redevelopment. No word yet on when the DMV location might reopen.
