CAPITAL PRIDE: It’s time for Capital Pride! Though best known for the parade, Capital Pride is two weeks worth of events that start tonight with a Heroes Gala & Silent Auction and D.C. Latino Pride fair and discussion. And yes, there’s even an app for that.
DJ TIMES THREE: “Red Bull Thre3style” has DJ Geometrix, Spinser Tracy, DJ Tech, DJ Trayze, DJ Alizay, KC From The Fatback DJs, Amen Ra and PHLIPZ in a competition where they’ll each have to play at least three genres of music in 15 minutes. The champion will advance to the national championship in Orlando. On hand at the Howard Theatre to perform a set and serve as a celebrity judge will be DJ Haircut, better known as Mayer Hawthorne. Free with RSVP. 7 p.m.
THE BEAUTIFUL GAME: If D.C. United (and our extensive coverage of it) isn’t cutting it for you, head over to FedEx Field (1600 FedEx Way, Landover, MD) this evening for a friendly match between the U.S. Men’s National Team and Brazil’s national squad. Tickets range from $30 to $164 (not including fees) and can be purchased here. 8 p.m.
GET USED: Utah-based rock quartet The Used is at the Fillmore in Silver Spring (8656 Colesville Rd.) this evening, touring behind their most recent effort, Vulnerable. Stars in Stereo open. Tickets are $25. 7:30 p.m.
FARMERS’ MARKET: The Georgetown Farmers’ Market at Rose Park was recently featured on CNN, so why not stop by and see what all the hype is about? (26th and O Street NW) 3-7 p.m.
